Originally from Boston, Founder and Principal Designer Katie Smith earned her BFA in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She began her career at award-winning firms on both the East and West Coasts, building a strong foundation in design, project management, and construction.

As a certified interior designer with over a decade of experience, Katie is known for creating spaces that feel quietly luxurious and deeply considered. Her work balances restraint and warmth, layering natural materials, refined details, and pieces sourced from artisans and craftspeople to create environments that are both elevated and lived in, designed to support the rhythms of daily life.

She leads each project through a collaborative, highly tailored process, guiding clients and their teams with clarity, intention, and care.

Katie lives in San Diego with her husband, their two children, and their bulldog, Winston. Outside of the studio, she is drawn to time spent outdoors and travel.
